Strange list, but it does show the difference in diet between Americans and the UK.

Let's see which ones I HAVEN'T EATEN.

Moreton Bay Bugs- Pretty sure I've never intentionally eaten bugs
Kangaroo- Nope, never tried it
Guinea Pig-Had one as a pet once, I'd feel wierd about that
Barrmundi- Nope Never
Reigndeer- Santa Might get Mad LOL!
Australian Meat Pie- I've had a meat pie tye dish, but not this
Durian Fruit- Dont think I've even tried it
Hagas- Disgusting, never never never
Cornish Pastries- Something like it, but never this exact dish

Not sure about cream tea

Barramundi is was the Australian call a Snook. Excellent fish. Both fighting and eating.

I had Reindeer in Stockholm; it was served with a ligonberry sauce and mashed potatoes, not bad.

Like both fresh fish and sushi.

The Cornish pasty would be my number one. Very few make them properly, I get mine mail ordered from a little shop in Tintagel.
The original pasty started as miners food savoury one side and a fruit filling the other with a pastry crimp all around to hold then throw away avoiding soot all over your food. Ingenious

Paella would be my number 2 as long as its on the shore of nerja with a glass or 2 of rioja enjoying the last moments of sunshine, beautiful memories.

And if i`m gonna croak it I need a bloody good Indian blow out, Pappadums with the works, Chicken chat stater, Chicken tikka persian biriyani, and numerous bottles of ice cold tiger beer.

That is a wacky list.

It is not specific enough!!!!! There are a lot of different types of animal meat mentioned, but not a specific method of preparation. There are ethnicities mentioned (Chinese food, Greek food, etc.) That is HUGE!! What kind of Chinese food? What region of China?

And don't even get me started on ice cream (or start greg off on the flavor of the month, for that matter). Is the BBC honestly suggesting that ANY ice cream is something you should have before you die? What about "premium high butterfat ice cream".

Can we combine these items and still count both? Ribs barbecue, reindeer kebab, chocolate covered mango....


Okay, I agree with chocolate. EVERYONE should try chocolate sometime in their life. I guess if I have to be more specific, I'd want everyone to have a warm, fresh-from-the-oven toll house chocolate chip cookie.

A cracking beer and Indian food is just not the same without it.

Yes it is.

I know a little Indonesian place overlooking the water on Boat Quay that does a great grilled whole fish with green chilies and mangos. 5 or 6 cold tigers sure helps to put the fire out.
